This is our usual breakfast stop when have our 2 granddaughters for the day. The oldest orders the kids plate, which is generous for the price. Bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrown casserole, and biscuits. Since they abolished my Double Meat plate that I've ordered for the past 20 years, it's the smaller Old Timers plate. Order the bacon soft and its awesome!! Great service from Tammy. This was the best experience at this location since the pandemic. We've experienced so-so food and lousy service more than a few times. Today was like the good old days.
Got mashed potatoe brick and and yesterday's gravy instead of my fully loaded mashed potatoes and got some steamed wilted broccoli with a teaspoon of cheese for brocolli casserole. I'm horrified. Chickens good. I can't believe you'd charge someone 1.69 for these sides. You should be ashamed
On my way to work, I called in an order. I stopped by to pick it up and left a tip. When I got to work on the other side of town, I discovered there were no eating utensils nor syrup for the pancakes. When I called, the server was dismissive and told me that I could drive back and pick it up. This was not feasible being that gas is almost $5.00 a gallon, I drive an older conversion van AND leaving my students unattended would get me fired or locked up. She offered a manager, who subsequently was too busy to talk to me. When she returned to tell me the busy news, she asked for my name and relayed that the manager would give me a free meal. I explained that it was not about the free meal, but about customer service. She became agitated and asked me what would I like for her to do. I offered two suggestions: 1. Apply customer service protocols; 2. Show empathy when customers have paid for their food and the order is inaccurate. I asked her if she could do that. Her tone was
