Great restaurant! All the food was very good. The interior also felt very authentic. The mapo tofu was good though it is of the vegetarian type i.e. not with pork so it was missing a tad of flavor. The fried rice was also very good. The fried fish with chili was my favorite. It is the fish version of the chicken dish.
I’ve lived in China and traveled extensively in Sichuan Province. This is arguably the most authentic Sichuanese cuisine I’ve had anywhere in the Bay Area. Great combination of 麻 (má: numbing) and 辣 (là: spicy) flavors
Good tastes and friendly service. Charged $1.20 for to go containers.
