Kabuto Restaurant

Dropped by Kabuto for dinner. Started with their cheapest sake. It came in a cool oversized stone shot glass. Was very good so we shared a pot. Started with the 1849 oysters which are a definite must try. The maguro, sake, dragon, we’re all delicious. One thing I noticed, is that even the small fish eggs had a lot of flavor compared to many places I’ve been to in my home state. Very good, fast, customer service and the sushi chefs were fantastic. Thank you Kabuto!

Just had dinner here, it was the best sushi I have had in a long time. The hamachi pear sushi was the start, an amazing mix of different flavors. The service was excellent and there were definitely some highlights: The oyster uni shooter was on point as well as the uni maguro and the tempura was nicely fried. The fish quality is definitely on point... But the one biggest problem I had with the food was the RICE. It was hard and not at all the quality of rice I would want in a sushi restaurant. Having paid what we ended up paying, I was very dissatisfied with the texture of the rice. To me, rice is 75% of the sushi and it was not up to par.
