Sichuan House Atlanta

The food was incredible! About 15 years ago there was an amazing restaurant in downtown Chicago that served a similar style of food. I tried numerous times to replicate it once it closed down but to no avail. So I gave up trying. Here we are 15 years later, 700+ miles away, and on a random Thursday I found what I have craved for soooo many years. The memories came flooding back! Sichuan House is the real deal. My new fav local spot! :-)

If you love Sichuan food, then you’ll love the Sichuan House restaurant, tucked away in a strip mall! Personally, having lived in China, it does not get more authentic than this. This was my first time here, on my sons recommendation and I will definitely be back to sample many more dishes. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The food was flavorful and spicy just as it should be and instantly transported me back to my days in China! We ordered the tilapia with cabbage, fried chicken pieces Sichuan style, rice, spinach, beans with garlic and cumin lamb! Everything was absolutely delicious!

Always good. How a dish similar to General Tsoas Chicken. It was very flavorful. I would definitely have again. My friend had a dish similar to Moo Goo Gai Pan and enjoyed it tremendously. This is the only Chinese restaurant the entire Atlanta metro area that has consistently good flavorful Chinese Sichuan food.
