I loooove this restaurant. Food is delicious, ingredients fresh and service is friendly. Best of all they have a sushi bar and their rolls are tasty and the presentation is unique. The chef is friendly and if you are lucky enough he may even create a dish just for you that is not in the menu! This is a place I see myself coming back to over and over. I recommend it highly. You may have to wait a bit for your food, but that only means it is being prepared fresh on the spot not from left overs from over night. Go ahead, give it a try!
Great food!!!!! They were renovating and they are now open again offering sushi as well. I have eaten plenty of times but only the Thai food. I will have to make another trip and try their sushi. Parking: Plenty of parking at this strip mall Kid-friendliness: They don’t have a playground or anything like that but they don’t mind the extra noise that comes from having kids.
The flavors transported me back to Thailand, a nation of foodies! Nestled in the corner of a relatively nondescript strip mall, Siam Thai & Sushi is a hidden gem of Thai authenticity and a modern spin on sushi. While many might find it unusual to combine Thai and Japanese cuisines, such restaurant concepts are familiar in Thailand and to Thai people. Believe it or not there’s actually historical precedent of Japanese influence in Siam, the former capital of Thailand, going back to the early 17th century during the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The fascinating story of Yamada Nagamasa, known as the “Samurai of Ayutthaya” deserves a closer look. As for the food, I can only say that it was undeniably “oishi”, “ah-roy” or delicious. I highly recommend trying Thai classics such as the Pad Thai, Crying Tiger, and Som Tum as well as less well known dishes such as the Duck Curry and Khao Soi. I secretly hope to someday see Sai Ua on the menu to further remind me of Thailand. The Atlantic Roll is a colorf
