The restaurant is wonderful. The decorations, to the foods, they are all mostly great. The restaurant shines atmosphere wise, for its rustic vibe is absolutely incredible. The waitress was good, but not the best which is perfectly fine also. Beware though, the food can prove to be very inconsistent at times. There are some great menu items but when it comes to others they are definitely lacking. The pulled pork is absolutely delicious but the pork steak is dry and looks sad. I would definitely recommend getting as much Texas toast as you can, it is so good I wished I got a basket full of it. Fortunately, it doesn't end there, their deserts are great especially the key lime pie. Overall, the restaurant is great but there's some room for improvement, 8.5/10. Also, if you intend to bring food for your children from another restaurant they will make you throw it away. They do not allow food from other places, including fast food.
Shorty’s BBQ in Davie I’ve ordered the cheeseburger almost every week. The menu says it comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, fries and coleslaw (which is horrible btw). Well. They ALWAYS FORGET TO ADD THE SALAD!!! I’m so disappointed. Also when I call they say that If they see a cheeseburger, they just send it. So what about the fries and the coleslaw?? They add that but not the salad?? Liars!!!! If it says on the menu, they should stick to it
Shorty's barbecue was great we came in got to see that very quickly our waitress came over gave us time to look through the menu, After we placed our order she brought us our appetizers, And also kept our glasses refilled without us even happened to ask
