Shirl's Drive in of Zion

They always have great food and ice cream! There were two morning shift ladies that were bickering back and forth which made the transaction take way longer than it should've.

Came in at about 9:20 with my family. We were going to place three separate orders and whole one person had placed their order instead of helping us the workers walked around. My mom was finally able to place her order at around 9:26 and they had gone away to put it in and took them about 4 minutes to then tell us that they can’t upgrade my moms drink to a slush and then re-did the order into the system and once they went to give the order to the cooks the people in there said the kitchen was closed even when at this point is was 9:34. Even is telling them that we had been here for over ten minutes and most of us had not been helped they refused to even let us get food to eat saying that the kitchen is closed Even when the place is opened til ten.

I have been going here since I was in my teens. Many memories. Great little ice cream joint. Delicious artery clogging goodness. Sorry maybe a little too descriptive. For dessert we'll finish off with some awesome ice cream. Deliciously creamy and very generous with toppings(when they get it right). Keep Rockin Shirl's!
