Shantell's Just Until Restaurant & Lounge

The best food in the Orlando area that I have ever had. Good food that puts you in a good mood. I ordered the catfish with Mac and yams with a half and half. I honestly cannot think of a single complaint of the food or experience. The waitress was a lovely lady who made sure we were content the entire time. I went on taboo night so it was wonderful to get an optional conversation. There was also poetry and jokes performed. 10/10 experience and I do recommend. (We traveled all the way from downtown Orlando to try the food and 100% worth it)

Of course I seen this on tiktok. The atmosphere is so cute & quaint. I never really been downtown Sanford until now. Parking was pretty easy to find. This is a black owned business so I had to check it out. It was nice to see family involved as they had the teenage kids working. Service was good. I ordered the jerk shrimp & rice while my husband ordered sliders with fries. The sliders weren’t good. I’m not sure what type of meat that was but it tasted funny. My food was good, especially the jerk shrimp & rice. My only complaints about it is the portion size & the cornbread. The cornbread had some after taste to it. I do think the price for everything is a bit steep. I would say try this place at least once or check out their weekly events.

Came for breakfast, and definitely would not recommend. In a nearly empty restaurant, we waited 30 minutes to place our order and over an hour to get any food. No creamer for coffee, no hot sauce, ordered juice and got Country Time lemonade…We all ordered something different and after an hour we all got the same thing (pictured)— and not what any of us ordered. It took us another 30 minutes to find someone so we could pay and go. They did have nice jazz playing on the speakers, so I guess there’s that?
