Amazing food. I think this will be my new spot all the time. The owners are kind and friendly, the service is very attentive. It's sad that they had to take lamb off the menu due to the high cost of lamb, but hopefully it comes back in the future. Some of the best Chinese in Reno. … More
Shanghai Bistro is a family favorite. My mother and my grandchildren enjoy the food here. The variety of dishes available is great as is the service.
If I could give -5 stars I would! From the time we walked through the door the waitress was rushing us to order and was rude. She made a big deal about rice costing an extra $1.50 because they do not offer combination meals, which was fine and I stated that multiple times. Unfortunately, my statement to the waitress fell on deaf ears. We ate very little and took the rest to go. The restaurant being empty except for 1 other customer should have been a big warning sign! On a happier note, the food was delicious and the portions were quite large!
