Shake Shack Winter Park

So I've heard nothing but great things about Shake Shack since they opened in Winter Park. My girlfriend and I decided to try it out this evening. I'm shocked that they charge so much for so little examples in the pictures. I was also very surprised that a smashed burger could be undercooked as pictured. The only thing that could make this flavor worse is if they used Burger King's impossible meat at least then it wouldn't be undercooked. Maybe if the staff wasn't just hanging out watching TikTok it would have been better. Shake Shack step up your game and your sizing... Remember must drain grease from burgers every 1000 miles. 8-17-22 Thank you Jake for reaching out. But I'm not looking for a free meal out of this I needed to let everyone know how bad and over priced the food is and how poor the service was. The burger was RAW not medium.

When we entered no one acknowledged us and we had to several minutes to order despite the restaurant being empty. Got the double shakeburger with the black and white shake. Burger was great and the shake was average. The lakeside views and water features to the side were a welcome sight for eyes that had driven several hours that day. Had a friend who got the chicken nuggets and declared that “there was more oil than chicken”

This place needs new management because I loved this place when it first opened. Decided to have a cheat day and take the family and I will never go back! Place was always super overpriced ($50 for two people) but the waterfront view is amazing. The food was so lazily prepared. Bun was soaked with grease, one little piece of lettuce & tomato. Kids felt the cold fries with cheese had a gross fake taste. Shakes no longer served with large straws, so can’t actually drink them until melted. No longer a premium experience and management needs a reboot and to retrain cooks. To boot, parking is always a nightmare! Sorry to say but never again for us!
