Seafood Island

The food was excellent. We enjoyed the crab legs (.5lb) , shrimp (1lb), chicken fried rice and coconut shrimp. (Total $62) All excellent. There was a band playing when we went and they were enjoyable as well, a bit unexpected but they were great. The service on the other hand was lacking. The host who seated us let us stand in the lobby for 10+ minutes before he even came out, eating food and ignoring us some more. It then took another 5+ minutes for him to "make sure our table was ready" in a restaurant that was maybe 20% full. We ordered coconut shrimp at the top, then the rest of our food. Our food came out nearly instantly but the coconut shrimp followed half way into eating our main meal. If you know coconut shrimp you know it's sweet and not really something you eat along side of your meal. (It's a true appetizer.) Additional miss, I assume by the same host, was that we got our food long before our silverware which took another 5 min as our food sat there getting cold... absol

Great little seafood place! The fried alligator is a must! Their combos come in a giant bag you get to dump out into a dish. I loved it and thought it was a great experience!

I had a party of about 15. The waitress was great. My issue was the food. The crab legs were EMPTY. Yes like zero meat when you cracked them. I'm not sure who their supplier is, but they need a new one ASAP. My child ordered bbq wings. It came as fried chicken with cold bbq sauce squirted on top like ketchup. Flavor wise, sub par. This place was wayyyyy overpriced for the lack of quality of food. On the positive side, shrimp were large, gumbo was edible, fried rice wasn't horrible.
