Love this little diner. The only dock I have is sometimes it can be a little messy inside. For example, there was a soda spill next to and beneath the table I sat at last time I visited. Once they noticed it they were expedient in cleaning it up, so it may simply be an issue of understaffing, which I understand has been an issue nationwide ever since the pandemic.
Food was delicious, service was great, it was clean and, the atmosphere was friendly & casual. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is they changed their hours and close at 3 rather than 8 now which makes it harder for us to enjoy their amazing food. Vegetarian options: I don't sure if I saw many vegetarian options, I got the chicken fried steak and it was sooooo good! I do know they have a good selection of salads. Kid-friendliness: Our son is almost 12 so honestly I didn't pay attention to the kid friendly aspect. Parking: It is in a former Coit's diner location so parking seemed ample. Wheelchair accessibility: I am in a wheelchair and had no problems. Dietary restrictions: As with pretty much any restaurant you can build any plate to meet your dietary needs or restrictions.
Fancy, it's not, but the food was good and the wait staff was great. I had a burger & fries and my wife had a club sandwich and fries. She said the sandwich was good, and my burger was more than just okay. It was a frozen patty, unlike some other local restaurants, who use only fresh ground beef, but it was still pretty good. Fries were shoestring style, which we normally don't like because they often come out too crispy. These, however, were cooked perfectly. Next time we're there, we'll try their breakfast offerings.
