Sciortino's Trattoria & Pizzeria

We came in tonight with another couple, all first time customers. Our experience, starting with our waiter, Gerry or Gary, I believe, from Costa Rica? He was phenomenal! Service an knowledge exceeded our expectations, then the meals we all selected was the best Italian we’ve had in Greenville and perhaps top 1-2 anywhere we’ve been! We will definitely be back! Can’t wait to try the pizza! Bob

This used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Unfortunately the last time we went the services was terrible. So bad that I said I would never go back but my wife wanted to give it another try for lunch today. We got the same grouchy waitress as last time and it she was worse today than before. She started off by standing a foot from my face and coughed twice saying she needed some medicine. I had to wipe it off my face and she acted like nothing happened. After waiting 20 minutes she finally came to the table and slung a basket of bread across the table slammed down water and walked off. She greeted two people that came in and began to take the order of the person behind us. The people mentioned nicely that they had an appointment and didn't realize it would take so long to which she replied 'Well I didn't realize we would have people coming in either' and walked off from their table. We did a pickup order, because my husband had knee surgery that day. I was running a little late picking up my order and they were so friendly at the front when I arrived. We got home and the pizza was still hot and was great. We ordered a cheese pizza, sausages pizza and garlic knots. I wish I could've taken pictures, but my kids didn't want to wait. My husband is also particular about his pizza and we will definitely be coming back.
