Satellite Food Truck

Got the Piri Piri sandwich for my first time here. It's amazing! Would highly recommend!

I don't write reviews often. For Satellite, I will. Amongst the food trucks that have opened around the Detroit area in the last 10 years, they stand far above the rest. Not only are they an excellent truck, but they destroy most restaurants that have opened in Detroit in the last 10 years. Fight me.

We hired Satellite to cater our wedding and we really can’t speak highly enough of the incredible job they did. Throughout the whole process, Mike, Brennan and the rest of the Satellite crew were absolutely wonderful to work with. They helped us put together a custom all-vegetarian menu that was cohesive but varied, and everyone at the wedding loved it. Tons of guests commented on how great the food was, and multiple people told us that it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. Most of our guests were not vegetarian, and many of them (including my mom, who was skeptical of our “vegetarian wedding”) said that they loved the food and didn’t at all miss having meat. Two months later as we’re finally getting around to writing reviews for our wedding vendors we’re still thinking about the beet hummus, and our friends are still talking about how good the pasta was.
