Sasaki Sushi & Bar

This was my first time visiting this venue and it was pleasant. The food was good and so were the cocktails. The only thing I would that could be improved was the staff having a being more timely with their service. I visited with my girlfriend and we were the only guests in the venue and it took almost 15 minutes to order apps and some drinks. We would have likely bought more than we ordered but had to leave to tend to other things bc the service was quite slow.

Not sure about the last few negative reviews... We came here last night for the first time and it was AMAZING. Its 2 doors down from AZ 88. It’s tastefully decorated and has big TVs which my hubby loved for college football. We had edamame and a seaweed salad to start, and ordered 3 rolls for dinner. Everything was beautifully presented, and the fish was so fresh! I got to dine at world renown Nobu in Aspen and this fish is on par with that experience. Our server was nice and on top of everything, the Chef helped us choose one roll and recommended we try his favorite roll (PHX roll see pic). It was so good. The owner even came to our table and greeted us. Everything was great. We will be back!

Hey guys my name is Nolan and I'm going to every sushi restaurant in Arizona. Today I'm at Sasaki Sushi and Bar. The vibe and the wall art was good. The edamame was below average. A little over cooked. The happy hour special was only $5 for a drink. We got the California roll, spicy tuna, vegas roll, and the shrimp tempura. Overall the sushi, the vibe, and the drink specials were good. So Sasaki Sushi & Bar in Old Town Scottsdale I give it a 6.3 out of 10.
