Samurai Sushi

I ordered the shrimp tempura bento box, There was barely any shrimp in between the tempura (it was basically fried tempura by itself). And I don’t know if they ran out of shrimp tempura but they substitute them with (broccoli, sweet potato, zucchini, and onions) fried inside the tempura, and hid it the 2 shrimp tempura they gave me. Mind you I didn’t even want the fried rice because there’s onions in there and I told him that I don’t eat onions. On top of all that, it didn’t even taste good. I’m so disgusted and disappointed by the type of service this establishment provides.

2 stars for speed to get our to go order ready. I won't criticize the food because everyone has different taste buds but we were disappointed on all 4 rolls we got, and their special crab Rangoon was different, I can see where they were going with but also disappointed. We are new to the area, I guess we will keep looking for a decent sushi place. The restaurant and customer service was nice. These people are just not getting any awards for their sushi any time soon. If we see reviews going up in the future we will try it again. Cooking can change.

Originaly liked thinking I was here for happy hour but very much disliked finding out my bill was $89, for one person. This is what I get for assuming the bill was correct which I never do! But that one time'll get ya. The escolar was supposed to be $1.95. The veggie tempura was supposed to be $4 something, and the regular ginger salad that I threw away because it was gross (which is CRAZY I love those salads!!) was supposed to be on the happy hour too I am pretty sure. I only got 2 rolls!!! Yes one was lobster, the other was not extraordinary but good. Yes I did get Nigori but reminding you that's a crazy STUPID price for one person DURING HAPPY HOUR, for dinner. Will not go back. The best part was wat himg the sushi guys behind the counter enjoy themselves and have fun. They are usually pretty focused and serious when one sits at their counter.
