You wouldn't want to miss the Salted Caramel Budino, which is one of Barbuzzo's most famous dishes. Its signature blend of caramel pudding, dark chocolate crumble, and whipped cream is a must-try. Another must-try dish is Barbuzzo’s classic Margherita Pizza. This wood-fired pizza is topped with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and finished with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. The Mediterranean platter with layers of flavors from dishes such as hummus, feta, and tzatziki is another sensational highlight. Another 5-star review. Not only is the food amazing on every level. Not only is it centrally located in a fun bustling neighborhood. Not only do they have Budino for dessert, which is worth the trip all by itself. This time, the staff went above and beyond when the other half of our party was late. Rather than make us feel bad or hurry us along (it was Friday night after all), they brought us bread and olives and told us to relax. Amazing. Such excellent service and hospitality is all but gone, except at Barbuzzo. 100% the best in the city.
Steve at front was very helpful staging us at the bar while our table was readied. Stacy at the bar made very tasty cocktails. Marina, our server, was attentive and helpful. The room is way too crowded. The lady seated behind me made it that I had to slide carefully into my chair. The room is echoing so the over full room made it very loud -- at 9:30 on a Thursday evening. Limited menu but tasty. Parking: Don't come here if you need to park. There are very expensive lots.
Bubbly conversation fills the air. Reservation for table was pleasantly on time. The waiter recommended Tonight’s Special Lamb Ribs - Plum Agro dolce, Moroccan couscous, purple basil, cherry tomato, ramp-tarragon vinaigrette - and so I ordered that.
