Samarkand Restaurant

We went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago to celebrate our friends birthday and really enjoyed the food and entertainment. So we decided to visit it as a family at a lunch time. It was Saturday and very nice and quiet. Everything was exceptional- service, food, presentation. The menu is pretty lengthy and intricate. Good photos and description. We have ordered lagman (soup/stew), lula kebab (similar to meat balls) and Jiz-Biz(deep fried lamb with fried potatoes). They also brought freshly baked and still warm bread that was absolutely awesome! We were very impressed and planning going there often- so many things to try!

Recently, we visited Samarkand Restaurant in Plymouth, MN. It is Uzbek cuisine. The best thing is the hospitality. It is a family owned restaurant. Aziz, from the family, was there to ensure customer satisfaction and talk about the dishes. Everything from ambience to food was excellent with Halal meat option. We ordered Mantu with meat, Broiled Cornish Hen, Jiz-Biz, and the thick soft bread. Enjoyed every bit of it! #food addicts #Uzbekistan #Halal #Best food
