Samantha's Tap Room & Wood Grill

After reading some of the comments, the through line is subpar service and inadequate management, their food is not the problem. Long story short, I tried Samantha's for the firt time today, I order gumbo, and my first few bites were great, until I felt a foreign object in my mouth. It was clear, flimsy and reminded me of tape. I met with the manager that afternoon, he looked at the object, picked it up, pulled it apart a said it was wax paper. Instead of offering me a complementary cup of gumbo for their shortcomings, this guy looked at me and said, I will not. His face was void of emotion and there was not a compassionate bone in his body. I requested a refund, including my tip and I left.

Samantha's is my favorite place to eat in Little Rock! The food is always so delicious and the service is absolutely fabulous! I had the salmon with asiago cheese grits and asparagus. The key lime pie was to die for as well. I absolutely love grits and these are my favorite! We just love y'all. If you're visiting Little Rock make time to eat here.

The lamb chops were cooked perfectly! Next time I’ll order them without the glaze but I would definitely have them again. The mushrooms were also fantastic! They are cooked and served with bacon. The service was just okay to begin with but it improved as the happy hour crowd decreased a bit. There is a good selection of drinks. I ordered elderberry sangria; it was a bit of a stingy pour but the flavor was good! I am looking forward to my next visit.
