Wow, genuinely shocked at the high reviews for this place. Tempura doughy, greasy, and with tasteless shrimp. All our fish lacked flavor and had this odd sticky texture. The rice was far too soft and tasteless. Tasted like the rice cereal baby food. I've only given an extra star for the larger portions, but it's debatable whether this place deserves that because those portions don't taste like anything. It is Japanese run, and it's really depressing that they think this is quality or acceptable. This is one step up from the mediocre premade sushi at grocery stores.

The best sushi restaurant in Los Angeles, hands down. And it has been for many decades. The service is great, fast, and the sushi is extremely fresh and yummy. The portion sizes are ridiculously giant for a sushi restaurant and the flavors are out of this world. The best!

One of my favorite Japanese spots in the area. The teriyaki chicken is grilled and has an abundance of flavor, I ordered the white meat and also the beef teriyaki which was debatably better depending on who you ask.
