Sabaidee Thai & Sushi Bar Concord

Not what I was expecting Concord. Great Thai (pan-asian) place with cool atmosphere. Also have pho and sushi (sushi was not bad). I liked the duck curry.

When the food is good and your order has been made correctly, you'll enjoy this place. However, if there is any problem, like your food doesn't taste good, isn't what you ordered, etc., you will find they will not replace it or take it off your bill, and you'll be stuck paying for food you won't eat. Service is a little slow and ultimately you get what you get here with no exceptions. I ordered the Bangkok Sesame made with beef which was made with slimy, smelly, expiring mushrooms and they refused to take it back and remove it from the bill, even after explaining the problem. Service is impossible to reason with. The drunken noodles and spring rolls were decent and the Thai wings were phenomenal. I will consider going back.

First visit to Sabaidee. It's a beautiful restaurant inside and out. The food was okay but didn't live up to our hope of finding another Thai option. The larb salad wasn't very flavourful and the beef was tough. The Sabaidee Thai Curry was different but I asked for level 4 spice and didn't taste any heat at all. The service was good, though, and the gentleman brought me a dish of hot pepper flakes to spice things up. We will try again another time, because it seems like it's popular enough that maybe we just visited on an off day.
