Ruth's Chris Steak House

I had been recommended to come to Ruth Chris , so I decided I would finally make a reservation and visit it as I was told to . I have to say I was pretty disappointed the best thing about my meal where 2 things, mashed potatoes and the bread ! How sad is that . I order lobster bisque , wedge salad (I don’t know how you mess this one up … but they some how did ) , the porterhouse for 2 , calamari ( this was chewy !! ), lobster Mac and cheese, crab cakes boy oh boy these were fishy .. we didn’t even end up eating them . Now we can talk about the service when I went it was not a busy time at all … some how they managed to forgot the lobster I ordered but I think it was a good thing beings how disappointed I was with the food. I had told the waiter that the lobster didn’t come and we were good without it . She tells me well it might be done so let me go check . 20 min pass and still not lobster . She comes back and asks your lobster still hasn’t made its way here ? We said no , so we kindl

If your looking for an amazing steak this is the place to go! It did not disappoint! The food was amazing and our sever was just as good! Kelse K. Was So personable and was able to give great suggestions that did not disappoint! She was attentive to us and was all around amazing! If your lucky enough you may get seated in her section! We definitely recommend Ruth’s Chris in Austin Texas!

I am super disappointed. I frequent this place often, this is my first time at this location and it will definitely be the last. We spent over 300$ for food that taste horrible. I ordered the New York strip and my boyfriend had the cowboy. Both of us were not happy with the taste of the steak at all. Mine was actually burnt and did not have much flavor at all! The spinach dip was very creamy and did not really taste like a dip, hard to explain the texture was just not right. We also had some crab cakes they were decent but still lacked seasoning. I highly recommend the sweet potato casserole, that was the best thing we had out of the entire meal. The steak also taste like it had some type of chemical on it my boyfriend said it just taste old to him. Super disappointed in the food however the service was good lol good people but bad food.
