The meats and cheeses are such high quality and a great variety; there are so many amazing sandwiches! They offer bakery items, soups, sandwiches, teas and coffee, chocolate, bread, cookies, so many things! Cozy and well decorated interior. Come a little early for lunch to get a seat, they will be packed by noon! Kid-friendliness: Lots of desserts and family friendly Parking: Plenty of strip mall parking
I had lunch here again yesterday and was reminded just how delicious this place is! My husband and I agree that it is literally the best sandwich you’ll ever buy/taste! Ive tried the caprese and the organic turkey gruyere and they are both insanely delicious! My husband gets the beef sandwich (El Rancho or something) and its so delicious, the cold cuts are cut fresh in front of you and sometimes you can see them making fresh bread too! The flavor profiles on these sandwiches are amazing! The actual decor and aesthetic of the space is also very woodsy and cool, like a cafe you’d find in downtown Chicago more than Lemont! We’ll definitely be stopping in here more often! Pleaseee extend your hours haha
This place gets a lot of hype but here are my thoughts: bread is delicious and fresh. Sandwich itself is nicely priced for the amount, but I wasn’t a fan of the sandwich overall…kinda sweet in my opinion (I got the chicken and Gouda). Overall I’d give the sandwich a 3.5/5. The tomato basil soup was next level- so hot, creamy, and full of flavor!
