Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria

Ordered for the first time at this place for 50 tacos for an office meeting. Put in order day before and when arrived they said there wasn’t an order. Showed proof that I called and spoke to someone and one of the “owners” got on the phone and stated this happens sometimes in the restaurant business. She didn’t seem to want to take responsibility and I had to ask for a discount since the food was going to be late for the event. She gave me 10% and made excuses for the issue. I understand stuff like this happens but when a company makes a mistake, take responsibility and don’t give attitude, which is what you did. SAD

The food was wonderful ...but what was really exceptional was our server! I accidentally left my credit card on the payment tray with the receipt. My family hurried off to our cars. Apparently the server tried to catch us before we left but was too late. The server gave the card to the manager for safekeeping. They had no way of contacting me so they waited for me to realize what I had done and contact them. It's good to feel reassured there are such great people around...and they are working at Rudy's. From the front door to the back door, I'm impressed! I hope I never lose my credit card again but if I do, I hope it's at Rudy's! We'll be back again and again for the delicious food AND the great people!

We got there around 5:30 on a Friday. We’ve never been there before but close to our house. We had a party of 6. We were told 15 min wait. At 30 min I went to the hostess to check in. Stated that no big tables had left yet but we were top of the list. Then they proceeded to seat 2 large parties before us. So strange. I was with my elderly father for his birthday and he then went up to check. The manager person who finally seated us 50 minutes after we arrived was very rude to my father. He said “we know what we are doing here “. It made me sad. We weren’t rude to them. Just frustrated, rightfully so. When we got there we were the only ones waiting for a table. By the time we were seated, the waiting area was full. The wait staff was great. Food OK. Chips good. But I had a bad taste in my mouth from now we were treated before we even sat down. We won’t be back
