Slow wait but good food. I highly suggest trying all the different flavors of Jamaica. My 3 go to are curry goat, jerk chicken, and oxtails. Food is seasoned well portions can be determined on what size you pay for.
My wife has been wanting to have jamaican cuisine for a very long time, since her dad and family are from the islands. We saw Royal Taste of Jamaica on the news last night and got really excited. It is one of the best food experiences I've had in Baton Rouge. The food was amazing, fresh and made with care. I can't say enough good things about it and I definitely will come back and recommend this place!
By far the BEST Jamaican restaurant in BR. Flavor, presentation and customer service is all there. The restaurant makes me feels like I’m back at home in Jamaica. When the food is good you don’t need all the “fancy” gimmicks. The authenticity makes you want to keep coming back.
