Rotelli Pizza & Pasta

The food was pretty good overall, but I felt like they tried to hustle me when it was time to pay. The manager told me that they charge an 18% gratuity for large groups to which I agreed. He then said he needed to leave before the check came. When the check arrived they had assessed a 23% gratuity. I can only assume they didn't think I would do the math. When I brought it to their attention I was told, "it does it automatically, and I will have to call a manager to adjust it because I don't know how to do that." I insisted she call the manager to figure it out. She came back with an adjustment of 20% thinking I still wouldn't know the difference. Eventually, they took off the gratuity so that I could add my own tip. I definitely thought to reduce the 18% because I felt insulted, but I had given my word and decided to keep it. The service was fine until it was time to pay.

We live in Orlando and stopped by for takeout before checking in to our hotel. Ordered cheese pizza and lasagna which came with soup(I chose lobster bisque) and fresh hot rolls. Service was quick and staff members were warm and friendly. While waiting I noticed the manager stopping by each table and chatting up the customers while refilling their drinks. We dug into our food when we got to our hotel room and it was all delicious! My son had the pizza which he loved and I really enjoyed the lobster bisque and lasagna, you could tell everything was made from scratch. Definitely recommend this place and will dine in next time we are back in the area!

Rotelli's is this awesome gem of a restaurant. They offer a variety of different foods, including wraps and desserts. Their Malibu Wrap is great and their pizzas are phenomenal. Their pastas are very good as well. The Creamy Tiramisu is a must have, it's tasty and satisfying. The portions are hefty, where two people can be fed.
