Hopefully Rosie's Cafe has seen better days. It certainly wasn't a good one when I came in. The interior is a bit decrepid. Almost all of the booths are taped up, and the menus don't seem to have been updated, except for the prices changed by whiteout, within this millenium. I was told to sit myself. After finding a booth that wouldn't leave me with glue on my pants, I waited almost 10 minutes for a menu, and another for my order to be taken. The food was pathetic. The bacon burger I ordered was almost definitely frozen, completely bland without even a grain of salt. The bun wasn't toasted and the cheese was most likely Kraft singles. Bad service, bad atmosphere, and bad food. $11 dollars not well spent.
Took my mom here while she here on vacation from Arizona. I had heard the food was good. Well, I wasn’t impressed at all. The gravy they put on the biscuit was less than subpar, very disappointing. My mom’s omelet had big hunks of ham instead of diced and it had slices of cheese on top that were like the processed cheese “product” that are wrapped in plastic. Bummer breakfast for us.
Certainly not the same as when Rosie owned it. Ordered the KC Chiefs omelet listed at $10.50. The waitress was an “in your face type”. Geez, back off please. When my order came she brought the omelet out with two fried eggs (what the heck)! Got the bill and it was $24.00! I complained because she charged me for the hash browns and eggs I never ordered, then charged me $4.00 for toast that always came with it before. I’m done, moving on. Sad to see a place like that go downhill so fast.
