Roots & Rye

Wonderful smoothie bowl place! I’ve tried açaí bowls at restaurants across the country and never found better. Tasty, reasonably-priced options—really appreciate that they charge you based on the size of the bowl you get and toppings are free.

Brought my iceee loving husband to this place. I was hoping this would be awesome because it’s his birthday, I was very disappointed, the bathroom was so disgusting splatters on the walls everywhere, the toilet and sink disgusting, like a gas station pit stop, when I paid the credit card processor cashier station it was disgustingly dirty too, splatters everywhere, the spoons were dirty too. I wanted to barf, I can’t believe it. Too bad. I thought ok maybe the açaí bowl will make up for it, we ordered the blue Majik, it was iced over in chunks not smooth like açaí is supposed to be. Too bad. We were looking for a good experience.

Not an expert in açaí bowls, but the bowl from Roots & Rye I had was amazing! They have tons of options for customizing your bowl, and rather than feel overwhelmed with all these ingredients I didn’t recognize, I actually had fun choosing everything. Prices were really good considering how much fruit and everything you get. I recommend adding the oat base!
