All the food I order here was really delicious
Rooster is hidden gem tucked away on the Poway side of Scripps Ranch. The food is refreshingly different, fresh and a welcome departure from the standard Thai cuisine around San Diego. Try the Khao Peak and the Khao Man Gai, but everything I’ve tried here is delicious. The hostesses are super friendly and take the time to walk you through your choices. Hope this place remains a success. I will certainly be returning often.
Been to this place multiple times. I just moved back to the US after living in Asia. This restaurant is the real deal. Amazing flavors, spices, very fresh. Similar to Thai or Vietnamese style food, but this is authentic flavors from Laos. I had the Chicken Rice, which was excellent. The dipping sauce was very close to the flavors you find in Singaporean / Hainanese chicken rice restaurants. Staff was very nice, portions were generous & the place was clean.
