Rocky’s Jamaica Sunrise

I had the lunch special, meat and two sides. Chicken breast, delicious mac & cheese, and great baked beans! My friend had the pork and a rum cake. It was all excellent! The chicken was smoked, tender and juicy! Amazing! Too much to eat. Had to get a takeout box!

Hidden gem! Quantity and quality food all around is awesome. Pro tip: order your fries early if you want to eat them with your meal as they fry them made-to-order and don’t have them sitting under a heat lamp. Nicely seasoned fries too. The half chicken is huge! Lots of choices with their stews, chicken, and pork options as well as sandwiches. Their sauces are excellent too… hot is nicely hot and spicy, medium will get you a little sweaty and mild is great for additional jerk flavoring. Their BBQ sauce is tasty and homemade too. Can’t say enough good things about Rocky’s. We are big fans and regular customers and will continue to come back.

Every single thing is delicious!! The hardest part about going to Rocky's is trying not to order the whole menu! For me, as a Caribbean native, this is the taste of home, so I visit often! The jerk chicken is served with your choice of sauce so you can have it as mild or as hot as you like. The Jamaican patties and curry chicken are a do-not-miss as are the red beans and rice ( aka rice 'n peas or peas 'n rice, depending on where you are in the Caribbean). This is a friendly, family-owned place serving top-notch food!
