One of the best river views in the city. Came here for lunch and dined in their outdoor seating along the river. Had some of their cocktails to start, both of which were fine but nothing remarkable. Had the shrimp and crab toast to start which was very good. Enjoyed the roasted chicken as my main. I wish the menu mentioned that it takes 20 minutes to prepare as I would've ordered it right away. It is worth it though as the chicken is very moist and flavorful. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu that I was made aware of

We first visited River Roast in 2021 and was fortunate enough to try their bone-in fried chicken. Unfortunately this time around we missed it by 3 weeks. If you have a chance to try their bone-in fried chicken, do it! It is by far the best fried chicken I have ever had. Simply delicious and it’s served with hot honey, chefs kiss! This time around we tried the St. Louis Style ribs and a roasted fish with Mac & cheese, broccolini, pork belly bites and golden gobbets (closest thing to their bone-in fried chicken mentioned above) for our sides. I wasn’t a fan of the Mac and cheese, it was on the dry side and was crumbly. The pork belly bites were super tender and delicious! It came with a pepper relish that was a great combo with the fattiness of the pork belly. The broccolini was very good as well. Seasoned well and just complimented our main dishes. The golden gobbets weren’t quite the same but we’re still tender and good, it came with regular honey that was a nice complement but just no
