Disappointed with the extreme lack of awareness of the management. They put us in a room outside of the restaurant in another building where private events are held. They threw us in a small room with a table of 16. It was truly an awful experience. Spending $500 on an evening for my birthday was actually spent with screaming children and the party FaceTiming everyone they could possibly imagine. There was no music just a extremely loud table. Highly selfish of management to allow a table in that room and pretend it’s acceptable. The poor waitress had to grab drinks from the other side of the restaurant, which took a long time. She did her best and grateful she tried. It was almost humiliating that they assumed we thought it was okay to throw us up there. Also, the bathrooms were littered with old paper towels and toilet paper. My step-son has worked and trained as a sous chef at a Michelin Star restaurant. This experience was an insult to the Bartoltta’s name.
I generally don't like Italian food, but this is my favorite restaurant in the area. They serve true Italian food, inspired by a different region of Italy each month. All four courses are great, but the standouts are the pastas, which are rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and any seafood based dishes, since the chef really seems to know how to treat seafood. And it's always a challenge to pick just one dessert. Wine list is extensive, cocktails and coffee are excellent too. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. Parking: The parking can be tricky, so plan 5-10 minutes for finding a space.
The atmosphere was cool and the noise level was low. The food was prepared well and very tasty. This definitely is a should try location. I definitely will go back.
