Rio Tacos & Tequila

This place is not what it seems. I ordered a chimichanga and a margarita...the beans that came with it were refried pinto beans that tasted like it had no flavor, watered down and even worse from a can. The rice they served tasted like boxed zatarans. The chimichanga itself was to spicy and was done way to quickly. Almost like it was frozen and they dethawed it, warmed it up and poured hot spicy cheese over it. Finally, my margarita. It was a disappointment. It was mostly pre-made all they had to do was mix in a flavor. That drink took longer for me to get than my actual food. I would not recommend this place. It was not worth the cost. I'm very disappointed.

Ate an early dinner here and sat on the outdoor patio! It was hot in August at 6pm, but not unbearable. Good atmosphere! I really enjoyed the fried mahi mahi tacos!! Two tacos with two big pieces of fish, rice & beans. $13. (I had to eat the whole one before remembering to take a pic!) The jalapeño sauce on the taco was delicious and pineapple salsa fresh. Complimentary chips & salsa. My fiancé tried the brisket street tacos $13 for 3 small tacos, rice & beans and thought the brisket was a bit dry, but still good. He really enjoyed the beans that were slightly spicy! Our server was nice & quick with our meal & drinks! House frozen Margarita was tasty!

Great atmosphere. Probably the best shrimp tacos I've had. I asked the gentleman behind the bar, to fix me his favorite drink which was a tequila old fashion. It was very good.
