Keep in mind this review is for a busy Friday afternoon at 6:15pm arrival to 8:10pm when we left. The wait was about 20 minutes for a party of 4. We ordered two shrimp cocktails, the ground beef taco plate, and a sampler plate. We sat for about twenty minutes waiting to order, then another 45 minutes for the food, watching larger parties who were seated far after we were get their food first. The excuse was there was a large to go order that backed up the kitchen. Our waiter was probably trying his best, but we didn't see him until we were about ready to just leave after we asked a waitress for help. She gave us attitude, unnecessary since my company is extremely patient and kind to servers. The service was great to start with but after our order was taken it went down. The chips and salsa were good and the guacamole was fresh made when ordered. The carne asada burrito needed something for an extra kick. The pico inside it was barely noticeable and the green sauce on top was a tomatillo sauce with no chili flavor at all. The chicken fajitas were good but nothing special. The cheese burger was okay, my granddaughter got it because they were out of tamales. They used quality ingredients and the food was good but it just didn't have the kick we enjoy in our food.
Fresh seafood and quality Mexican dishes. Had alive music on Thursday nite which was entertaining. Great staff and variety on menu. King crab enchiladas were excellent and so was the shrimp cocktail.
