Walked in and about 8 people quickly piled in afterwards, which shows that the community supports this business. I ordered 2 turkey tip dinners, one with sauce and one without sauce. It came with one large side and a slice of bread. It seemed like the ladies at the counter was confused about who paid for orders and who did not. Upon getting my order, the put fries under my tips, which I didn't order. I asked if that meant that I got less tips and she said, I actually got more meat (does NOT make sense, anyhoo). Also, they gave me one small mac vs. 2 large mac. They quickly corrected that mishap. I always like to tast the meat WITHOUT sauce in order to get the full experience. The sauce was toooo sweet, so I am glad I got it on the side. The turkey tips were SUUUPER TENDER & FLAVORFUL! I am a turkey tip expert and always travel to Illinois in search of great turkey tips. Well I know I'm late to the Righteous Ribs party but hey that's ok, God doesn't make any mistakes. So better late then never Amen . Now with that being said, I'm glad moms and i stopped by 10/01/22 and partake in some delicious barbecue. I tried the Turkey links and Tips for the 1st time and it won't be the last time. I kinda feel you guys are underrated and don't get the exposure that you'll deserve ...So I'm going to do my best to spread the good word. I'm always down for patronizing black owned businesses, especially if I feel they're a good one. Now the only complaint is the reason I couldn't give them five stars , It was the fact that there wasn't enough napkins available. Smh Now how ya gone run a barbecue joint and not have easy access and available things for the customers to wipe their sticky cuz it's covered in barbecue sauce hands off huh? Now peep this, It is just a suggestion to prevent customers from having to track down staff for something as simple as a napkin.

Righteous Ribs is the place for good food, good service and an overall great experience. My Church members and I had a catered dinner there. We ate until our stomachs and hearts were content. There prices were were great. We were there on Thursday which featured live jazz. Also we got to watch the Rail Cats baseball team. Everyone loved it!
