Solid little Cal-Mex burrito stand to get your fix in a hurry. I say Cal-Mex because they definitely have California influences in their food and not the traditional Mexican meat options, if that’s what are craving. We ordered the carne asada nachos, a shredded beef hard taco and al pastor and carnitas soft tacos (but got asada instead, so can’t rate the carnitas). Service was really friendly and fast considering their drive thru was pretty busy. We decided to order at the front window and scored some doggy biscuits for that choice. Food was good. Asada had really good flavors, but a little dry. The nachos were huge and more than enough for two. Good thing we ate there, because the chips got soggy pretty quick. Might have been the beans. They give you their ranchero sauce on the side (salsa and cheese sauce) because they probably know it would make them even soggier. Sauce was tasty, but a little on the salty side. Overall really good and something I would order again, but may ask for
I ordered the Ranchero fries with Carne asada. Includes crinkle fries, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and diced tomatoes. The Carne asada had good flavor for the most part. The guacamole was super fresh and tasty. I tried the red and green sauce both had very good flavor and the red had a good and pleasant spiciness to it. I order the esquite. They need to go back to the drawing board with that, it wasn't good.
Nice convenient Mexican fast food restaurant. Has a small patio if you wish to dine-in, or two drive-thrus. We had the flautas, soft tacos, and the taquitos meal with Aguas frescas. The flautas and taquitos are larger than usual (twice the size of a regular size flauta/ taquito). The flautas and taquitos are served with a generous amount of guacamole. Very good flavor, overall. The salsas are also very flavorful (we tried the green and habanero salsa). The meals are a bit on the pricey side and did not have a kid's menu, but overall, it was a good lunch. Parking: Has a very small parking area. Maybe fits about 4 cars to park.
