We chose this place due to its proximity to the Mesa Arts Center, which is only one block away. We also enjoy empanadas, having eaten them several times while traveling in Ecuador. The menu had a large selection of savory empanadas and we chose two each served as a platter with white rice, black beans, and cabbage salad. Everything was delicious! We also had the house made sangria that was not too sweet and very refreshing. For dessert I had the peanut butter and chocolate empanada, which was outstanding. I recommend getting there about 5:30pm before it gets busier. The restaurant has its own parking lot, so it's very convenient.
The tostones needed to be better kinda plain to be honest, but the empanadas both savory and sweet ones were excellent, staff was superb and took time to talk with us. Margaritas really good too. Definitely worth a try.
Excellent service, so friendly, always clean, food is delicious, fine art, good lighting, doesn’t make u feel like an outsider, And Lilli is such a nice person she has such an extraordinary sense of humor! Definitely a MUST dine in place! ????10/10
