Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Red Robin offers endless steak fries, which is normally "well and good." Steak fries are my favorite in the food pyramid (haha). Any kind of fries are best served hot. Very seldom have they reached our table hot. Most of the steak fries we have been served are scrubblies. I feel I am not being unrealistically harsh but accurate and truthful. Any french fry lover would agree (haha). Otherwise, their food offerings are satisfactory. Good service is their standard. Poor service is an abnormality. Steak fries are the reason for the four star rating. If I was unreasonable, I would have given a much lower rating. Parking: Convient to the restaurant and plentiful. Kid-friendliness: One time, we ordered chicken for one of the grandsons. We didn't understand that chicken was grilled. He only will deep-fried battered nuggets or strips. Server came just to take order. And it was wrong when we got it. I could understand if it was busy but no one was there. She never came back someone else did. Then had a billing issue. Charged us for thing we didn’t get

Not a typical Red Robin experience. The salad I ordered had rusty lettuce and nothing about it seemed fresh. To top that off instead of bleu cheese dressing they brought me tartar sauce, which due to the extremely dim lighting it was hard to distinguish the difference before putting it on the salad. Our server was polite, but took a long time before coming over to check on our table. The pay at the table device was glitchy and took a while to get it to accept my card. For the $120 we spent for 5 people I would rather get a better meal somewhere else.
