Red Lobster

This was our first time visiting this Red Lobster location. We've been patrons of Red Lobster for years and I even worked at another RL location down in the Atlanta area as a hostess many years ago. We were able to make a reservation for 6:15pm on a Friday for our family of 5. We are glad we did call ahead about an hour and a half ahead of time because our wait was very minimal when we arrived. The food was delicious as always. Our children had the lobster tail and popcorn shrimp entrees from the kids menu along with the raspberry bay smoothie and cherry slushie. This was a true family night out so we let them indulge a bit. My husband and I shared the date night platter which was a generous serving of two lobster tails, two sirloin steaks, two shrimp skewers, bacon macaroni and cheese along with 2 sides. This is the worst business for curbside pick-up. Every time I have ordered for curbside pick up I have waited 20-30 mins past the pick up time. I have even had to go in and retrieve my order from from the bar and it was sitting in a bag. If a company is going to offer this then they should staff it correctly and train staff to respond quickly. The customer should not have to call 3-4 times before there order is brought out to them.

So I went for a birthday lunch with my mom, I hadn't been there in about a year. I'm glad I gave it another try! Staff was friendly and the service was good. Reasonable prices and combination platters. Best coconut shrimp EVER. My one and only complaint was about the cheddar bay biscuits we have come to crave when you know you're going to Red Lobster. They now only serve 3 at a time ???? and they're not as on top of refilling your basket as one would like. If they'd keep those coming they'd get 5 stars. Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible as well as disabled accessible.
