This place may have new ownership? Portions are much much smaller. Food doesn’t taste as good or as fresh. Prices way too high for the smaller amounts. It’s just not good anymore. Menu items don’t look the same as they used to and certainly the quality has severely suffered. Why pay more money for less food that isn’t good. I remember a time when it was very very good. Not at all anymore. What a shame! This is a thumbs down!!!
I've always loved this restaurant, and I have fond childhood memories from here. The food is good and the employees are friendly. Though, I do know of great Mexican restaurants with lower prices; however, this place I'd wager is fairly priced for the area in which it is located.
Always fresh, large portions, great flavor. Best machaca in San Diego.
