Denny's

For somebody being 24 hours okay they are never 24 hours and you would expect if somebody's going to work early and had to be there they don't expect this place to be closed with a cardboard sign on the door saying clothes for half an hour with no return time on it. This is the second Denny's in El Cajon that I've gone to right now that are both closed at least this one had a sign in the door saying that they're closed for break for half an hour. I mean seriously at 3:30 in the morning they've got enough people here to cover a half an hour break so why should they have to close down the entire store for everybody to take their half an hour break that makes no sense to me if I could give it less than a star rating I would definitely give it maybe a point of a star and that's it. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION TO JUST BE WASTING YOUR TIME AND GAS

Clean restaurant. Excellent hospitality. Great service from Karla. This experience redeemed Denny's for me. The food was cooked perfectly. Turkey Bacon, hash browns and easy over eggs with a gluten free English muffin. Thank you!

Horrible. Waiter took for ever to get us started with drinks. He didn't even bother to ask us if we were ready to order (which we were). The cups of WATER had soda in and all around. Even smelled/tasted like soda. We weren't even given utensils. I stirred my coffee with my finger. I was never offered a refill on my coffee until I was a couple of bites from finishing my food. It would take me longer to prepare the coffee than finishing my food. The menu was covered in jam. Zero stars if I could.
