Quaker Steak & Lube

It's been a couple of years since we last visited this location and during this visit it was in need of a deep cleaning. The menus had a layer of filth on them and our table was sticky. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our wings came out fast and were cooked just right. The cocktail we ordered did not come in a Bar Jar as advertised on the menu. The cheap plastic patio chairs they have for their tables are incredibly uncomfortable. And when did chicken wings start being priced like seafood on the menu with market pricing?

Food is kind of high for the type of restaurant it is. Although healthy options are available all grilled chicken dishes are not offered with a free choice of sauce like many of the fried options. Our server was very friendly and helpful but open patio seating made it difficult for her to check on us often. Salt wasn't available at all tables, and the outdoor music was really loud. But there was a cool vintage car show going on beside the patio for free, that was really fun! Lots of great choices for wing lovers!

Came to Quaker Steak and Lube for dinner, not my choice but my daughter wanted to come for chicken wings. It was trivia night which sound cool but since I was with the kids I did not participate.  I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp and loaded tator tots. For the price of what I ordered it definitely was underwhelming. My loaded tator tots only had cheese on them. Boom Boom Shrimp was lack luster,  save your money.  My daughter enjoyed her chicken wings. It's safe to say if you want chicken wings, definitely a great place to come. Any other dish, I'm not sure about. Cool atmosphere with race car memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Nice staff.
