Q-BBQ Oak Park

For the amount of money spent on this, it was not worth it at all. I'll start with the Mac, over cooked noodles and some were a bit hard(in pic) and seemed have been in the warmer for a while. The mashed potatoes, well you can't mess those up, wink, wink. But oh, the brisket, the saddest part of the meal. Hardly any smoke flavor, sliced too thick and with the grain, instead of against. The brisket didn't seem to have any fat trimmed from it. I only got 3 big chunky and fatty pieces. Fairly dissatisfied, I used to frequent Q when they were on Diversey and never had a meal this disappointing. ????

We got the variety plate with all the meats to sample and was all pretty good... Burnt ends and the sausage were my favorites with mash potatoes on the side with curb bread... Always been a fan of Oak Park but seems like walking around there we were constantly getting harassed for money by bums...
