I have never left a review for any establishment, but felt compelled to here.. my family and I arrived and were seated immediately. This location wasn’t particularly busy when we arrived. Despite that, we waited for about 15 mins before we were acknowledged by anyone even though multiple employees passed us. When we were finally acknowledged, it took another 10 minutes or so for anyone to even get our drink order. All fine, things happen. We order and our food comes out in a timely manner and looks good. Except.. a few bites into my steak salad I find myself chewing on chunks of white plastic. And not just one piece, multiple pieces throughout the salad. Throughout our entire visit, not a single member of management was to be found- not just to check on us but in general. So, while I generally enjoy primantis, I won’t return to this location. The two stars are because my family liked their food and the server that offered to take our table was great.

Honestly this was the first time we tried this place because we are from Ohio. We thought if that's what Pittsburgh is known for we should try it. To me it was just another mediocre chain restaurant. We tried their famous sandwich with French fries on it and after I took the fries off it wasn't bad. Nothing stood out as being great. Service was pretty good.

I would have to say that a Primanti's sandwich is one of the most quintessential Pittsburgh foods there is. While they may not appeal to everyone, there is a diverse enough menu that anyone in a group should be able to find something to their taste, including vegetarian variations of their classic sandwiches. Personally I've never had a Primanti's sandwich I didn't love, particularly the Ragin' Cajun', the personal pizzas are also very good and believe it or not was the first thing I ever got at a Primantis because of a strong recommendation. Of course because it's a local favorite, it can get very busy during peak dinner times. While service may slow down due to the volume of customers, I've never had bad service. I like the atmosphere, it's very relaxed with a bit of a rustic lodge aesthetic. On my last visit I was there with my wife, daughter and two friends visiting from out of town. We treated everyone and with 3 classic sandwiches, a personal pizza, kids meal, loaded fries and a
