Food was good & the drinks also if your looking for a great Black owner Restaurant in the Neighborhood here it is. Their standards have not changed in the atleat 15 years I have been patronizing them. New York city style and experience with out the hassle of parking & train rides. I was really excited to try this place with my sister for the longest time. I hear the spot was black owned and was looking forward to support. Service by Gary owners husbands was great, very personable. It was a rainy day so we were the only ppl in the small cafe, food did take a lil while but seeing that it was done to order that was fine. The spinach cornbread was amazing and i order the Whiting strips as a starter which was on point. My ginger lemonade was also awesome but that was basically the highlight of our trip. I ordered the boneless chicken drizzled with sweet chili for an extra $2 with a side order of yams and mac and cheese. The food looked good but the taste was another thing. Mac n cheese was just okay. The chicken was super dry and yams...... i couldn't understand how you could mess up yams. My sister ordered the chicken and waffles and i felt like her waffles were soft but she did say the half chicken was very tender and juicy. Overall i can say that it was really ov
