Who would have known? The servers here are amazing, the food here is a MUST TASTE if you want some jamaican food. So far, I only had what you see in the pictures. But I can tell and pretty much imagine that everything else is good. I will probably try oxtails next time just to see, but the Ackee and saltfish is good and the dumplings are soft, fluffy, crispy and so good. Also, the fried chicken in the chicken and waffles was well seasoned and amazing. I should give it a 5 stars, but the location is very local and urban.
Our first time at the Cove Restaurant in Rosedale Queens for an impromptu farewell dinner. We were seated immediately. We all had the chicken soup to start which was flavorful. We had a variety of entrees - curried goat, oxtail, oxtail roti, escovietch fish and salmon in coconut sauce. The portions were huge for the price. The only drawback was the food was lukewarm. They need to fix that. Nice ambience and music. I would definitely go back. Thanks
