PPQ Dungeness Island - Millbrae

We were in town for the weekend and wanted to try the best Dungeness crab in the bay. This place seems to open later than most. So they got our take. Photos do not look as good as iy tasted. Looks can ve deceiving from the photo it looked like full of butter but it's actually a broth. It was not as butter as it looked. We order the crab dinner for 2 person meal came with (1 Dungeness crab, garlic noodle and eggroll) plus we ordered an extra dish of gai lanh green on the side. Total came out to be $162.

Delicious food, great portion sizes and Gluten free items clearly marked on the menu. About 95% of their items are gluten free or can be modified to be. Service was great and we all ate our fill!

Updated review 2/18/2022: Always good times at PPQ. We ran into one of our friends while dining here. It is very nice seeing old friends and enjoying a meal together. We had the peppercorn crab meal for two and added beers and calamari. The food and service was much better this time around. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Updated review 9/25/2021: Slow kitchen tonight. It took about an hour from ordering for our food to arrive. Luckily the waitress noticed our food has not arrived after about an hour and check in the kitchen. Once the food did arrived, we noticed the salted egg yolk had no egg yolk taste to it. They probably forgot to put the salted egg topping because they were rushing to get our order out. Usually the food here is pretty good. We were so hungry after waiting an hour, we didn't send it back. The other stuff was fine. Imperial rolls with salad, garlic noodles, roasted crab, string beans and peppercorn crab.
