Potbelly

Excited to find out that there's a Potbelly Sandwich shop in Phoenix!!! The entire interior design is mostly the same as their Chicago shops, while it's a bit brighter (in the good way) maybe due to the sunshine of Phoenix's ? ???? Ordered steakhouse sandwich with "all in" along with root beer, what a nice Sunday afternoon.

I don’t like to give bad reviews but I was really disappointed when I asked for the ladies restroom code and was told I had to order first. I told the young lady (no name badges, tall, dark long hair pulled back in pony tail and glasses) Im with a party of 4 and we will be ordering but need the restroom first. There were several people waiting in line to order food and the line wasn’t moving particularly fast. So she hesitantly shouted out the combo code than rushed away. I proceeded to try the combo code and it did not work. So I gave up, got in the long line for food and another customer asked for the combo code. They handed her a key. Really? I’m given a fake combo code? Did the lady /young girl not think that would come back as a bad review? I was also not charged for the combo at checkout so needed 2 transactions at checkout. This was my first visit . Food was good but for me it’s about the total experience. I understand being understaffed , long lines etc but to be given a fake c

Whoever was at the counter was rude and wanted to get out early so he told me and my family on a holiday that we had to order and eat in 5 minutes and leave despite the fact they were open another 30 minutes. Never eating here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
