The Breakfast Club has a lot going for it, including a large indoor dining space and plenty of outdoor tables, nestled in the heart of the CityScape mixed-use complex. Having eaten there three days in a row during a stay at the Kimpton, there were some pluses and minuses, but each day’s meal and service were better than the one before, and I would honestly give this around a 3.5 rating overall (and 4 on the last day we went). In general, I didn’t like ordering a plain coffee and having no idea if a free refill was available (no coffee service without asking for it, when the check was presented), and the pile of slimy yellow arugula on my avocado toast was not particularly appetizing. To their credit, I didn’t bring up the arugula until after finishing my meal, since I didn’t realize the extent of the problem upon first digging around the avocado. Good stop for a quick breakfast bite and delicious breakfast cocktails. Nice patio for outdoor dining. Food was tasty but not next level. Good location if you are staying downtown.
Nice place. Your run of the mill brunch restaurant, but that said, it's slightly above average. The food is very delicious. I got the french toast, but I wish I would have gotten the steak and eggs. Man did that look delicious. My dad got it, let me try a piece and it was so freaking good. They have a cafe bar, so you can also order an array of coffees, teas, juices, and smoothies. They also validate your parking. If I remember correctly, it's 2 hours. So make sure you get that validation and don't pay for parking.
