Having frequented Portillo's for a significant part of my life, I've observed its evolution firsthand. I must commend the establishment for its impeccable cleanliness and efficient management, evident every time I step in. The delightful touch of being able to purchase a cake while walking up to the register is a testament to Portillo's commitment to enhancing the customer experience. The recent transition to giving patrons a cup for self-service drink refills at a fountain is a modern touch, and it's great for those who like to have control over their beverage choices and portions. However, my connection with Portillo's is rooted deeply in nostalgia, particularly the tastes and flavors of their offerings. My recent order of the big beef with juicy peppers left me somewhat disappointed. The beef felt noticeably thinner, and the broth, once rich and flavorful, now had an overwhelming taste of salt. Over the years, it seems there's been a shift in the quality of some of their products. F

Best burgers you can get and the only ones in a fast food chain that look like the pictures on the menu. Great quality and ingredients. Extremely consistent. Portillos may have sold out and the beef isn't the same unfortunately... on a good note the burgers are just as good as the first day I had one over 25 years ago. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is always good since delicious food makes people happy. Kid-friendliness: Just a great place for kids. McDonald's sucks.
